Full Cottage Description


Master Bedroom- It is the only room upstairs (18x13 feet) and has original board floors that have been beautifully restored and refinished. There is a Queen size bed, recliner, television, DVD player, CD and Record player (some Records are provided), full closet, dresser, 2 night stands, and full length mirrors. You can even watch the waves while relaxing in bed!

Main Floor Bedroom- It has a double bed (gorgeous antique head/footboard), smaller television, DVD player, VCR, chair, night stand, full length mirror and closet with shelving.

Please note: There is a single fold down cot in the cottage as well. Both bedrooms have high quality sheets and bedding with extra pillows.

Kitchen- The kitchen is full service and top notch all the way with full size appliances including: dishwasher (built in), fridge, stove, and microwave. Everything you need in a kitchen is there, pots, pans, lobster pot, dishes, all cooking and eating utensils, a radio toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle, and a CD/Radio stereo system (4 speakers). The table for 4 has an extension leaf (to seat 6), and has cloth tablecloth and placemats. There is a lovely view of the ocean in the kitchen as well.

Bathroom- is a 4 piece bathroom with a full size tub and shower with surround. There are 2 cabinets for personal items, laundry hamper and luxurious bath towels, hand towels and face cloths are provided. The bathroom is large (12x6.5 feet).

Porch- has a full size washer and dryer for your convenience and use. Also provided, a neat storage solution for footwear and outerwear.

Living Room- Curl up on the plush sectional couch in front of the electric fireplace. The livingroom also has a television, DVD player, VCR, (cable tv, The Movie Network and local community channel are provided at no extra cost to you). There are sliding patio doors leading outside to the "deck".

Patio/Deck- I put quotations around "deck" because I have the most unusual and interesting deck on Grand Manan! Once exiting the patio door, you will be on a landing which leads either to the yard or down steps onto the stern (open back) of a real 40 foot lobster fishing boat. The stern (open back) of the boat is your outdoor patio/deck!

There is a full-size BarBQ and picnic table, all on deck! So, come aboard and enjoy your dinner in the fresh ocean air!! This boat originally sailed and fished the waters of our Bay of Fundy for 40 plus years. The boat has now been set into the ground to look the same way it would in the ocean. This makes for a fantastic up close experience and perfect for picture taking. Please note: This boat is not in water and cannot be sailed in water, it is completely immovable.

 Outside- You have your own private driveway with parking for 2 vehicles. In the yard there is a fire pit, sand box and accessories for the kids, badminton, and patio chairs for adults and kids. Also, as mentioned above, a full size BarBQ and picnic table.
